Upgrade earmuff air pressure plumbing system

Upgrade air bladder design with airlines that run around the back of the helmet instead of through the front of the helmet was designed with ability to be installed in 3/4 helmets and modular helmet as well as full face helmets.

Remove air bladder by cutting off airline entering earmuff pocket.  Cut off original speaker line coming to the earmuff and remove earmuff.  Remove large threaded plug on left side of the helmet that attaches to the cell phone line.

Remove Velcro on inside of the helmet shell in earmuff pockets.

Install air bladder positioned exactly as shown in the picture above attached to inside of the helmet shell with  1" by  2" VHB 3M double sided foam tape that is pre installed on air bladder.  String air lines out the back of the helmet as shown and cut to length for connection to air valve.

kickstarter-earmuffs21.jpg

Be very careful not to cut silicone airline to short for slipping onto air valve nipples.  Clamps holding silicone lines on air valve nipples are hard to snap on and will need lots of pressure applied to snap together.  3M VHB tape on clumps will hold clamps in place securely on the helmet shell

Squeeze air valve bladder to for air into air bladders to force earmuffs to seal around ears.  Push pressure release button to release air so earmuffs can recede into earmuff pockets for dawning or removing the helmet so ears can easily slide into earmuffs and out of earmuffs.

Close up picture showing air valve is installed off center so DOT sticker is visible.  Air intake end of air bladder pump is held in place so intake end of the air bladder pump will not come off of air valve.

Install 1" by 2" section of  VHB 3M double sided foam tape on exposed side of air bladder or on the back side of the ANC earmuffs to attach the earmuff to the air bladder.   ANC earmuff control unit should be installed on the left side of the helmet so the right hand can remain on the throttle to maintain speed.

Using a scissor cut a slot in left side helmet vinyl as shown in the left side padding for line from control unit to left side ANC earmuff to pass thru  left side earmuff padding.  Right side earmuff side padding will not need a slot.
