  1. Noise reduction is phenomenal

Quiet Ride Carbon Fiber Motocross Helmet

    Rides: 2010 Arctic Cat M8

As I've gotten older, the sound of my snowmobile has become increasingly bothersome. I've been on 3 rides since I've gotten my helmet and the noise reduction is phenomenal. When I start the tunes from my IPOD, it's like 2 highs on the same ride. I'm thrilled someone finally implemented this concept. It's a great looking helmet too!!

  2. Huge Difference

Posted by Steve S on 9th Sep 2015

So I took a chance on the Quiet Ride Helmet due to fatigue riding a bike and a sled. Since I ride with open helmets, there is excessive wind noise. This changes everything! What a difference. I can still hear almost everything but it is such a difference in volume. And my ears do not feel constricted like before with plugs. I can't wait for the snow to fly and try it on a long trip in the UP. I'll write another review titled Huge Diff Part II.
In addition, Al did a great job explaining the differences. Glad I listened. Thank you.

  3. Works Great for MX!

Posted by Christopher on 24th Apr 2015

I've had this helmet for about a month now and have used it over the course of 3 Saturdays with 4-5 motos each day. This is a light weight, DOT approved helmet that looks sharp and really is quiet. The fit with the built in ear muffs is very comfortable and snug around my head. The helmet actually looks like one of the other popular MX helmet brands out there but with a differet label. My Scott and Fox brand goggles fit well with this helmet and the ear muffs are recessed deep into the shell of the helmet for a secure, no nonsense fit. I can still hear my KX450F and the sounds of other bikes near me but it isn't nearly as loud as it used to be and I don't get ringing in my ears at the end of the day anymore. The built in pump is handy but I don't use it much, I don't need to. My only comment is that I had to trim the strap because it was a couple inches longer than necessary so it would flap against the side of the helmet at speed. I shortened the strap and all is fine now. With a regular helmet, I never would have heard the strap flapping against the helmet. Everyone that sees the helmet really like the built in speakers and blue tooth feature. I find the music to be distracting after a while when I'm on an MX track but they do work well and sound great.

  4. Easy to use and quiet

Posted by Bill J. on 6th Apr 2015

My Quiet Ride helmet is the quietest helmet I have ever owned! The pump is quick and easy to use, just 4-5 pumps to seat the ear muffs. The deflator valve makes it easy to regulate the bladder pressure to a comfortable level.
